Trip to Regent Street Cinema
On the 11th of November, Media students went to Regent Street cinema which is the oldest cinema in the country but has recently been refurbished. We went to see the into Film Festival with Anna Smith who is a journalist but specialises in film critic so she watches films and gives a analysis also evaluates the film. She gave us advice on how to do a good interview when conducting a Q & A's she told us that when we are making a Q & A the questions we ask to the person being interviewed should be interesting as you don't want them bored, also she told us to ask questions that they haven't been asked as questions to the person being interviewed, as questions may become repetitive to them which may cause them to give blunt answers.
Anna Smith gave us general advice on journalism for students who want to be a journalist, she said that to be a journalist you need to try also types of genres music, film, news articles etc as what you prefer writing about may not be your speciality so you need to try all types of journalism to find what you are
most strong with to pursue a career in that section of journalism.

This comes from the back and it shows the model hair much clearer mostly if their hair is black and so is the backdrop.

The background which is black, when taking a photo it is more professional when your model stands 6 feet away from the backdrop.

The soft box is the field light (fills in). This is very useful as it can create different kind of shades to a picture when lighting is adjusted on it.
